These Terms of Service "Terms" govern your use of the Ayden Calls mobile application "Application" for Android devices. The Application is provided by GILRAEN LIMITED "we," "us," or "our" as a phone call management tool with an AI-powered assistant that provides insights about phone numbers and entertainment features such as digit-based fortune telling.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy described in Section 9 below. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Application.
2. Description of the Application
Ayden Calls is a phone dialer and call management application that can serve as your device's default phone handler. The Application provides the following core features:
Managing incoming and outgoing phone calls, including answering, rejecting, holding, and switching between multiple calls;
Displaying call history and contact information;
Searching for publicly available insights about phone numbers using an AI-powered assistant;
Providing entertainment-oriented fortune-telling predictions based on phone number digits;
Quick access to popular messaging applications installed on your device.
3. Use of the Application
License: We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the Application for personal, non-commercial purposes.
No Registration: The Application does not require user registration or the creation of an account.
Eligibility: The Application is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction.
Prohibited Use: You agree not to: a reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Application; b use the Application for any unlawful, harassing, or fraudulent purposes; c use the insights or predictions provided by the Application for making critical personal, financial, or legal decisions.
4. Default Phone Handler
The Application may request to be set as the default phone handler dialer on your device. This is required for the Application to manage calls. You may change the default phone handler back to any other application at any time through your device settings.
5. Device Permissions
The Application requests the following permissions to provide its core functionality. You may grant or revoke permissions at any time through your device settings; however, revoking certain permissions may limit the Application's functionality.
Phone READ_PHONE_STATE, CALL_PHONE, ANSWER_PHONE_CALLS, MANAGE_OWN_CALLS: Required to detect incoming and outgoing calls, make calls on your behalf, answer or reject calls, and manage active call sessions. These permissions are essential for the Application to function as a phone dialer.
Contacts READ_CONTACTS: Used to identify callers by matching phone numbers to your contact list and to display contact names and photos during calls. The Application does not modify your contacts.
Call Log READ_CALL_LOG, WRITE_CALL_LOG: Used to display your call history within the Application and to manage call log entries e.g., recording and deleting call records in your device's call log.
Notifications POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used to display call notifications, including incoming call alerts, ongoing call status, and missed call notifications.
Internet and Network INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to connect to our servers to retrieve phone number insights, communicate with AI services for insight processing and predictions, and to check network availability.
Billing com.android.vending.BILLING: Used to process in-app subscription purchases through Google Play.
6. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
Subscription Plans: The Application offers optional subscription plans Sense, Extra, and Ultra that provide access to additional features and enhanced insight limits.
Free Trial: New users may receive a free trial period. The trial duration is determined by us and may vary.
Billing: All subscription purchases are processed through Google Play. By subscribing, you agree to Google Play's terms of purchase.
Recurring Payments: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play Google Play → Subscriptions → Ayden Calls. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are provided.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Any price changes will be communicated in advance through the Application or Google Play, and will apply only to subsequent billing periods.
Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Google Play in accordance with their refund policy.
7. AI-Powered Features and Disclaimer
The Application uses artificial intelligence to process phone number insights and generate entertainment-oriented predictions.
Insights about phone numbers are gathered from publicly available sources and processed by AI. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You should not rely on these insights for any critical decisions.
Predictions fortune telling are generated solely for entertainment purposes and have no factual, scientific, or predictive validity.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content.
8. Installed Applications Detection
The Application checks whether certain popular messaging applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber, Signal, and others are installed on your device. This is used solely to provide quick-access shortcuts to message a contact through their preferred messenger. We do not collect or transmit any information about which applications are installed on your device.
9. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. This section describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
9.1. Information We Access on Your Device
The Application accesses the following data locally on your device to provide its core features:
Contacts: Names, phone numbers, and photos from your device's contact list are accessed to identify callers and display contact information. This data is accessed in real time and is not uploaded to our servers.
Call Log: Your call history is accessed to display recent calls within the Application. This data remains on your device.
Phone State: Information about the current call state e.g., ringing, active, on hold is accessed to manage calls properly.
9.2. Information Sent to Our Servers
When you use the insight lookup feature, the following data is sent to our servers:
The phone number you are looking up;
Your device locale to provide localized results;
A device platform identifier a randomly generated ID, not tied to your personal identity.
This data is used exclusively to retrieve relevant insights about the phone number. We do not store or associate this data with any personally identifiable information.
9.3. Information Sent to Third-Party AI Services
To process insights and generate predictions, certain data is sent to OpenAI's API:
For insight processing: The text of retrieved insights which may include the phone number is sent to OpenAI for language enhancement and summarization.
For predictions: The phone number and your device language are sent to OpenAI to generate entertainment-oriented fortune-telling content.
OpenAI processes this data in accordance with their Privacy Policy. We use OpenAI's API, and our use of that data is governed by OpenAI's customer agreements, which provide that API content is not used for model training.
9.4. Analytics and Crash Reporting
We use the following Firebase services to improve the Application:
Google Analytics for Firebase: Collects anonymous, aggregated usage data such as feature usage frequency, session duration, and device model. This data does not include personally identifiable information.
Firebase Crashlytics: Collects crash reports including device model, OS version, and stack traces to help us identify and fix bugs.
Firebase Performance Monitoring: Collects anonymous performance metrics e.g., app startup time, network request latency to help us optimize the Application.
Firebase Remote Config: Delivers configuration parameters to the Application e.g., feature flags, UI settings. No user data is collected through this service.
Data processed by Firebase services is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
9.5. Local Data Storage
The Application stores the following data locally on your device:
Cached insights for previously looked-up phone numbers stored in a local database;
User preferences theme, UI mode, selected tab;
Subscription status information;
First launch timestamp used to calculate trial period.
This data is stored on your device only and is not transmitted to our servers.
9.6. Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect your name, email address, or any account credentials;
We do not record or store the content of your phone calls;
We do not access or transmit your contact list to our servers;
We do not collect or transmit your call log to external servers;
We do not track your location;
We do not collect information about which applications are installed on your device.
9.7. Data Retention
Server-side request logs containing phone numbers looked up are retained for a maximum of 14 days and then permanently deleted.
Analytics data is retained in accordance with Google's standard data retention policies.
Locally cached data can be cleared at any time by clearing the Application's data or uninstalling it.
9.8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect data in transit HTTPS/TLS encryption and at rest. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9.9. Children's Privacy
The Application is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
9.10. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
Request information about what data we process about you;
Request deletion of your data;
Opt out of analytics data collection by disabling analytics through your device settings or contacting us.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the email provided in Section 14.
10. Intellectual Property
The Application and its original content, features, and functionality including but not limited to design, code, graphics, and AI prompts are and will remain the exclusive property of GILRAEN LIMITED.
11. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Application is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that: a the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure; b the insights about phone numbers will be accurate, complete, or current; c the AI-generated predictions will have any factual basis. Use of the Application is at your sole risk.
12. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall GILRAEN LIMITED be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from: a the use or inability to use the Application; b reliance on any insights or predictions provided by the Application; c unauthorized access to or alteration of your data; d any third-party conduct related to the Application.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through in-app notifications. Your continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
